High school students may be pre-accepted into the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MS-PAS) program provided they meet the identified criteria.
Full-time Shenandoah University (SU) students completing a baccalaureate degree at SU are qualified to pursue this admission path.
Dual Program Opportunities
Individuals interested in pursuing both clinical and public health training may complete both degree programs concurrently – saving up to 15 credits of overlapping courses, 一年的时间, and approximately $13,000. Combined PA and public health skills may be applied in areas such as population or clinical research, health administration leadership, and community health promotion.

- Gain official admission to both SU’s PA and MPH programs, respectively.
- The Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MS-PAS) coursework may not be taken out of sequence due to the program’s rigor and structure. Thus, MPH coursework may not be started until the second year. Once Year 3/Fall 3 is complete, the MPH may be continued in any course order on either a full or part-time basis.
- Passing grades of “C” or better in all courses and maintenance of an overall 3.0 GPA in both programs is required for satisfactory progression and graduation.
PA/Performing Arts Medicine (PAM) Certificate
The SUPA program works alongside our performing arts educators to develop teaching practices, healthcare prevention, 评估, and treatment strategies that will enhance and potentially prolong the career of a performing artist.

- Submit a letter requesting admission into the program to the Performing Arts Medicine Program Director by the designated deadline.
- Submit a letter of recommendation from a respective Dean or Program Director.
